REDD Engineering collects opt-in verbally at their locations or over the phone. When a customer is registered for the first time, they are asked to provide the phone number, and staff is trained to ask if the customer would like to opt in to SMS-based notifications. They will be verbally informed that “Message and data rates may apply”, “Message frequency may vary”, and they can “text HELP for support or more information and STOP to unsubscribe at any time”. They will also be informed that their phone number will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

REDD Engineering respects your privacy. By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to the following terms regarding how we handle your data:

  1. Opt-In: REDD Engineering collects opt-in verbally at their locations or over the phone.You can also opt-in to receiving SMS messages at any time by texting us at 801-582-4900. By sending an SMS message, you agree to receive SMS messages from REDD Engineering related to your inquiry. Messages are unique and conversational, and message frequency varies. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance.
  2. Data Collection: We will collect your name, email address, and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates. The information will be collected in person or verbally over the phone.
  3. Data Usage: We use your data solely for sending updates, and reminders related to our products or services.
  4. Data Security: We protect your data in the Microsoft cloud with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access.
  5. Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request deletion at any time.
  6. MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited texting or data plan.
  7. Frequency: Messages are unique and conversational, and message frequency varies.

  9. Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by texting, emailing, or replying STOP to 801-582-4900 or redd@reddengineering.com. We will remove your number from our list within 24 hours.
  10. Non-Sharing Clause: No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
