REDD recently provided assistance to one of our mining clients in the Mountain West Area by offering design and engineering services for a new crusher base and supporting conveyor belt. The client expressed a need for a swift turnaround on this project, a request to which we were pleased to provide.

The team made the road trip nearly the next day and upon visiting the job site, we conducted a comprehensive 3D scan of the area. Making use of the data obtained, we meticulously modeled and designed a new base to support the crusher, effectively isolating the existing platform and stairs from the new base. Additionally, we developed a drop chute, complete with skirts to ensure effective dust control.

REDD’s deliverables included an IFC drawing set comprising Civil and Structural Plans, Elevation and Details, Mechanical Chute Plan, Elevation and Details, and a comprehensive Structural Calculation Report.
