Installing Novel Technology

A South Korean Company that audits local engineering talent needed support with installing their novel mining technology on “U” mountain in Vernal Valley, Utah. Because of their lack of experience working in America, they reached out to REDD, a local engineering company they could trust, to help support them in all aspects of the project.

REDD accepted their request and became their personal “Utah Liaison”, taking control of the project as owners representative. Over the course of a year, REDD personally managed all aspects of the project which included spec’ing out equipment, equipment purchasing/procurement, construction oversight, and overall direction. Since this project took place at a mining facility, REDD took care to uphold our strict safe work practices and made sure all personnel was in adherence to MSHA, OSHA, and industry standards.

REDD was successful in modifying the extraction equipment and modifying the existing facility to allow the process to handle the lower throughput and the increased light ends. At REDD, we pride ourselves in teaming with our clients to such a degree that they begin to consider us part of their organization rather than an outside consultant. We achieve this by consulting with our clients to determine what their true needs, not just the apparent need, are and then teaming with them on ways and means to maximize the opportunity to improve systems and processes.
