Installing Novel Technology

REDD provided owner’s representative services to a South Korean company that audits local engineering talent and needed support installing its novel mining technology on “U” Mountain in Vernal Valley, Utah. Because of their limited experience operating in the U.S., the client turned to REDD, a trusted local engineering firm, for comprehensive project support.

REDD stepped in as their personal “Utah Liaison,” managing the project from start to finish. Over the course of a year, REDD oversaw equipment specification, procurement, construction oversight, and general project direction. Given that the project took place at a mining facility, REDD prioritized strict safety protocols aligned with MSHA, OSHA, and industry standards.

REDD successfully modified extraction equipment and the existing facility to accommodate lower throughput and increased light ends.
