Pipe Stress Analysis Project

When a local refinery encountered issues during operations with a previously installed gas oil hydrotreater plant where multiple lines had stanchions bent and anchor bolts ripped out of the concrete, they turned to REDD because of our performance on their previous projects.

In spite of logistical challenges at the height of the COVID-19 lockdowns, we were able to pinpoint the causes of these problems and verify permanent solutions using an extensive stress analysis.  This enabled the client to save time and money by correcting the underlying issues instead of resorting to temporary fixes that would require the work to be done several times over.

REDD’s experience with pipe stress and flexibility to work through COVID-19 restrictions made it possible to create lasting solutions that will prevent future issues and promote long-term reliability.
